On the mats

Programs

A class for every age

Each program is taught by an instructor who specializes in that age group, with the right balance of technique, discipline and fun.

Little Samurais

Ages 3 to 5

Coordination, listening skills and confidence through games and basic movement. A gentle first step into jiu-jitsu.

Kids 1

Ages 6 to 8

Fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with a strong focus on teamwork, respect and self-control.

Kids 2

Ages 9 to 11

Refined technique, positional strategy and the first steps into controlled, supervised sparring.

Teens

Ages 12 to 16

Physical and mental conditioning for young athletes who want to compete or simply train hard.

Adults

Ages 16 and up

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, Wrestling and Judo. Gi and No-Gi classes for beginners through advanced.

Women's Self-Defense

Ages 10 and up

Practical, realistic self-defense taught in a respectful environment where every woman feels at ease.

Two-time IBJJF World Champion with more than 25 years teaching martial arts. Licensed physiotherapist specialized in sports rehabilitation.

Professor, Black Belt

Multiple-time IBJJF Open champion. Teaches Gi and No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing and Wrestling, with over eight years on the mats.

Maria Martins

Coach, Blue Belt

Training since the age of six. Works with the kids programs, helping young students build confidence on and off the mat.

Questions

Before your first class

Do I need any experience to start?
No. Most of our students started as complete beginners. Instructors teach from the basics and progress at your pace.
What should I wear to the free class?
Comfortable athletic clothes are enough for your first visit. You do not need to buy a gi (kimono) before trying a class.
Is the academy a good fit for young children?
Yes. Classes start at age three, with instructors dedicated to each age group. The academy is family-owned and many of our students train together with their parents.
How does the free trial work?
Send the form or a WhatsApp message. We will confirm a day and time, you come in, train and meet the team. There is no cost and no obligation.
